To care for spider plants, provide bright, indirect light, water when the top soil is dry (but avoid overwatering), use well-draining soil, and feed monthly in spring/summer; they tolerate average conditions but benefit from humidity, and brown tips often mean low humidity or tap water minerals, so use distilled/rainwater or mist occasionally to keep them happy and producing "spiderettes".
