Size 2 gallon,  Acer palmatum 'Hime shojo'

An excellent dwarf red palmatum, growing densely, and taller than wide. Flushes of red, deeply divided new leaves appear all season, maturing to a dark maroon, giving this treasure a contrasting color effect. Best color in full sun, although afternoon shade in hot climates is appreciated.
